 Europe 

Europe is a multicultural continent. There is a great diversity of cultures, beliefs and traditions.

The borders between countries in Europe have changed frequently. Nowadays, there are approximately 50 countries.

The biggest country in Europe is Russia and   the smallest one is Vatican.

**Continents are usually defined as a huge landmass separated from other continents by water. However, there is no water separating Europe from Asia.

Some countries are split so that one part is in Asia and another part in Europe, they are called transcontinental countries. Istanbul, in Turkey, is an example of a transcontinental city
