3-1-Rivers
There are a lot of rivers in Spain. The major rivers, and many smaller rivers flowing into them, have dams built on them to form reservoirs which provide Spain with water and electricity.
Rivers have different characteristics according to the climate and relief:
1-Rivers in the Cantabrian watershed are very short, but very fast.They have a large water flow because of high precipitation.(Names of the rivers)
2-Rivers in the Atlantic watershed are short with a large water flow or long but with an irregular water.(Names of the rivers)

3-2-The relief of Spain
Spain is a mountainous country. There are many mountain ranges and a plateau called the Meseta that occupies the central part of the peninsula.

-The highest mountain in Spain is the volcano of Teide (3715m) on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
-The highest mountain on the Iberian Peninsula is Mulhacén (3479m) in the Sierra Nevada east of Granada.14
